The Monster Trike from Grind Hard Plumbing Co. is one of the wildest custom builds ever to roll out of a home fabrication shop. At first glance it looks like something from a post-apocalyptic movie: a massive three-wheeled machine with an enormous tractor tire up front — and that’s exactly where the driver sits. The cockpit is built inside the giant front wheel, making the tire both a structural element and the most eye-catching feature of the vehicle.

Powered by a diesel engine and built around a hand-fabricated tubular frame, the Monster Trike combines heavy equipment parts, custom steering geometry, and oversized rear wheels to make its unconventional layout actually function. The project showcases extreme problem-solving and iterative engineering, as the builders continually refine steering, suspension, and durability.
